About Me

Hey there, Abdul here!

Outside of my projects, I love exploring Singapore’s vibrant live art scene and drawing inspiration from everyday sounds and visuals. I’m passionate about storytelling that connects emotionally whether through lighting, sound, or performance.

When I’m not creating, you’ll probably find me at a music concert, behind a camera, stargazing, or travelling to new places!

(Nothing quite beats a warm, breezy visit to the beach, to be honest!)

Coming from the Institute of Technical Education (ITE), I began as a Leisure and Travel student with a strong passion for connecting with people and managing theme park operations.

During my time there, I built meaningful friendships and gained enriching experiences, from collaborating with Salesforce to participating in an overseas community exchange program with orphans.

My journey culminated in an internship at Science Centre Singapore under Guest Experience & Retail Operations, where I gained valuable insights into the ever-evolving tourism industry.

Building on that foundation, my current experience in Arts & Theatre Management at Republic Polytechnic (RP) has deepened my appreciation for the arts and live entertainment!

As I transition to (RP), I’ve been fortunate to dive deeper into the entertainment industry, exploring the worlds of arts, theatre, and live shows both locally and abroad. Through overseas immersion trips to Taiwan and China, I’ve gained valuable insights into how different cultures approach performance and storytelling.

Nothing quite compares to the experience of travelling. It has been both eye-opening and inspiring, with countless beautiful sights, lessons and friends made along the way.

Moving forward, I hope to continue exploring not just the world, but also the diverse arts and cultural landscapes that make each region unique!
