SPEAK Debate Challenge Certificate of Participation
My team was selected as one of the winning groups in a debate on the necessity of online vigilantism in supporting legal compliance and community safety.
Consequently, I was honoured with the Best Speaker Award for my clear, persuasive arguments and bold stance.
Mapletree-SCCCI River Hongbao Hackathon 2023
Selected to pitch a sustainable product concept, my team and I presented a wallet crafted from upcycled jeans and pre-loved materials.
In my role as operations lead, I managed sales performance, adapted marketing strategies, and ensured strong market appeal.
Although we were not chosen to exhibit at the River Hongbao, the presentation experience and feedback from the judging panel were highly insightful and rewarding.
Salesforce X Halogen Certificate of Graduation
During the first week, we were taught how to use Salesforce to organise, manage, and categorise data through cloud-based tools, which prepared us for the practical work in the second week.
In the following week, we applied what we learned to develop solutions for Halogen, a charity organisation, focusing on how they could better organise their accounts, track leads, and oversee work processes and clients through their Salesforce dashboard.
We then presented our proposal to a panel of judges, who evaluated the effectiveness and efficiency of our recommended solutions.
Peer Support Workshop Certificate of Participation
As part of a joint programme with the Health Promotion Board, I was trained in recognising and supporting friends experiencing mental health challenges such as depression, stress, and anxiety while maintaining empathy and sensitivity.
This experience deepened my ability to build meaningful connections and support individuals through academic, work-related, or personal difficulties.
Such skills are valuable for cultivating strong team dynamics, positive morale, and supportive workplace environments.
Overseas Service & Development Programme (OSDP) (Certificate of Achievement)
As part of a school initiative, I was invited, along with a group of students, to travel to Chiang Mai to engage with orphans and children aged 7 to 14. We spent time exchanging cultural slangs and language, and bonding through games, activities, and dancing.
I also took the initiative to play sports with the children and contribute to meaningful work that supported their underdeveloped village. Together, we built sturdy fences, planted flowers, and cleaned the area to create a more pleasant environment for them. This experience not only strengthened my ability to communicate despite a language barrier, but also helped me learn to work with children from diverse backgrounds that I was previously unfamiliar with.
